PARACETAMOL
Solution for IV Infusion1 g / 100 ml (10 mg/ml)
Omnophen (Paracetamol) solution for infusion contains 10 mg/mL of paracetamol (100 ml vial/bag contains 1g of paracetamol). Paracetamol solution for infusion contains the excipients mannitol, cysteine-hydrochloride, nitrogen (as protective gas), and water for injections.

PHARMACOLOGY
Absorption: Paracetamol pharmacokinetics is linear after a single administration of up to 2 g and after repeated administration during 24 hours. The bioavailability of paracetamol following infusion of 1 g of Paracetamol 10mg/ml is similar to that observed following infusion of 2 g pro-pacetamol (containing 1 g paracetamol). For both these products, peak plasma concentration is obtained as and from the end of infusion.
